A new short film about HCDE Professor Cecilia Aragon explores her life-changing journey from being a novice pilot with an intense fear of heights to becoming the first Latina pilot on the US Aerobatic Team and University of Washington College of Engineering professor.

A team of researchers including HCDE's Raina Langevin, Rafal Kocielnik, Gary Hsieh, Amelia Wang, and Alexander Argyle developed a chatbot to ask emergency department visitors about social needs, including housing, food, access to medical care, and physical safety.
