Join the Department of Human Centered Design & Engineering for our end-of-quarter course showcases. These events are your opportunity to preview different HCDE classes and view the variety of topics students are exploring. All events are open to the public, and light refreshments are served at the in person events.
TUESDAY, MARCH 7
Physical Computing & Prototyping (HCDE 539)
When: 6:15 - 8 p.m.
Where: Sieg Building, room 329
Instructor: Andrew Davidson
In HCDE 539, students build prototypes of various interactive projects. Projects employ an Arduino micro-controller with assorted electronics sensors and devices to create systems that interact and engage with the physical world.
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 8
Inclusive Design (HCDE 515)
When: 6:30 - 8 p.m.
Where: Sieg Building, room 232
Instructors: Sarah Coppola & Sourojit Ghosh
In HCDE 515 students work to co-design with participants who have a lived experience of disability. View their final projects in this community showcase.

When: 6:30 - 8 p.m.

In the showcase for HCDE 511, student teams will share their projects in data visualization.
FRIDAY, MARCH 10
UX Prototyping (HCDE 451)
When: 12:30 – 2 p.m.
Where: McCarty Hall, MILL, room B52
Instructors: Brock Craft & Alainna Brown
Students in HCDE 451 explore a variety of prototyping techniques for different kinds of user experience design problems. Students will present their final projects in this open showcase.
