Students earn an HCDE graduate certificate upon successful completion of the required courses in the program.
Students who do not complete the required coursework within four quarters may be able to finish remaining courses as a non-matriculated (single course) student on a space-available basis. Students should contact their Graduate Program Advisor to discuss options if they are unable to complete the program as scheduled.
Requesting the certificate
In order to request the certificate, students must schedule a meeting with your advisor, Alex Llapitan, to submit the certificate request via the Graduate School during your final quarter. Unlike Master’s students, certificate students cannot request the certificate on their own.
