Liz Juhnke is a Principal Product Designer at The Home Depot, where she has been responsible for ensuring a world-class Customer Experience in Deliveries, Order Modification and Cancellations, and Returns. Her specialty is in leveraging big data to drive business decisions and deciphering Customer pain points to design omni-channel software interactions. Previously, Liz was Associate Technical Fellow of UX at Boeing. Throughout her Boeing career, Liz supported many programs, including Commercial Manufacturing Operations, Quality Inspection (with HoloLens and mobile tech), Additive Manufacturing, Autonmous Vehicle, and Parts Tracking (with RFID). Liz loves guest lecturing in the HCDE dept. She also loves mentoring aspiring UX Designers through the Informatics and HCDE departments at UW. Liz holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Informatics (HCI) from the University of Washington and a Master of Science degree in Predictive Analytics from Northwestern University.
The UX Speaker Series is hosted Thursdays in winter quarter by the Department of Human Centered Design & Engineering at the University of Washington. Presentations are open to the public.
