Sean Munson receives College of Engineering award for teaching

Sean Munson, Assistant Professor of Human Centered Design & Engineering (HCDE), has received the 2015 faculty award for excellence in teaching from the Dean of the University of Washington's College of Engineering.

The College of Engineering Awards acknowledge extraordinary efforts of the college's teaching and research assistants, staff, and faculty members. Nominations are submitted by members of the student body, staff, and faculty, and the winners are selected by the Dean. Other nominees from HCDE included: Cecilia Aragon, Faculty Award for Research; Daniela Rosner, Faculty Junior Award; Taylor Scott, Student Award for Teaching; Daniel Perry, Student Award for Research; Leah Pistorius, Professional Staff Award; and Elaine Shelley, Classified Staff Award.

Munson will receive the award from Dean Bragg at the awards reception on Thursday, May 28, 2015.
