VR Software Developed by Alumnus Mark Laughery to Partner with Childrens Hospital

Pear Med, the startup co-founded by HCDE alumnus Mark Laughery (MS, 2016), will partner with Seattle Children's Hospital to develop their virtual reality software for clinical use. Pear Med's technology compiles medical scans into an interactive 3D model, and can help doctors communicate with their patients and surgeons prepare for complex procedures.
