A Conversation with Cecilia Aragon

On October 27, 2020, the University of Washington's Department of Human Centered Design & Engineering hosted a special conversation with Professor Cecilia Aragon about overcoming fears in STEM education and careers.

 

In conversation with HCDE Professor and Chair Julie Kientz, Professor Aragon answered questions submitted from students and alumni, shared her experiences overcoming self-doubt throughout her career, and discussed what prompted her to write her memoir,  Flying Free: My Victory Over Fear to Become the First Latina Pilot on the US Aerobatic Team.
