Flight delays cost an airline $76 per minute or roughly $28.9 billion per year. A lot of flight delays are the result of inefficient aircraft turns (preparing an aircraft for its next flight, starting from arrival to its next departure). To tackle this problem, Team Godspeed worked with APiJET through two rounds of research and design, creating a new Turnaround Management application. This application sources real-time aviation data to reduce flight delays through supporting Station Operation Managers to easily identify delay risks and coordinate smoother aircraft turns.
