Future Students

Application Fee Waiver

Eligible Pipeline Programs

For graduate student participants of the pipeline programs below, the Department of Human Centered Design & Engineering will pay the program application fee. Please complete the Application Fee Waiver Request Form to request payment before submitting your application. We cannot pay fees retroactively for applications that have already been paid for and submitted.

If you are a participant of a program not listed below whose mission explicitly aligns with our diversity mission, to directly support students, professionals, and/or participants from systematically under-resourced or underrepresented communities, you may request a waiver by including program details in the appropriate section of the Application Fee Waiver Request Form.

Note that the UW Graduate School waives fees based on financial need and for McNair Scholars and PPIA fellows; see this page for details
