For current offerings, times, and locations, refer to the UW Time Schedule.
Current and upcoming courses for students enrolled in the Human Centered Design & Engineering undergraduate program are indicated with an "X" below.
Important: While we post this planned course schedule to give students an idea of which courses we currently expect to offer in future quarters, our planned undergraduate course schedule may change. HCDE students should plan to complete the 9 300-level core courses by the end of their junior/second-to-last year to meet the prerequisites to take the HCDE capstone sequence in senior year.

† HCDE 315, HCDE 316, and HCDE 351 are not required courses for HCDE students who declared the major prior to Autumn 2024. However, HCDE students admitted to the major prior to Autumn 2024 who have not yet taken HCDE 301 may substitute HCDE 315 or HCDE 316 for the HCDE 301 requirement. Students admitted to the major Autumn 2024 or later must take HCDE 351 and at least one course from HCDE 315 or HCDE 316.
* Effective Autumn 2024, HCDE 318 and HCDE 300 have been replaced with the new 2-course foundations sequence, HCDE 302 and HCDE 303.
