What Will You Learn

HCDE offers several programs. The degree titles of the BS, MS, and PhD will be changing to degrees in HCDE in 2009; TC degree titles will continue to be available to students who entered the different degree programs when HCDE was UWTC.

While each program has its own set of learning objectives, in general all HCDE students are prepared to investigate audiences and be excellent designers and communicators of technical information. This may come in the form of preparing information for the web, conducting a usability test, designing a user-interface design, or documenting a help system.
