Cecilia Aragon, HCDE 511, is an Associate Professor in the UW's department of Human Centered Design & Engineering (HCDE) and a member of the eScience Institute. She earned her PhD in computer science from UC Berkeley in 2004. She earned her BS in mathematics from the California Institute of Technology.
Michael Berg, HCDE 517, is a Program Manager with Microsoft's User Experience Central team, where his work focuses on survey research and process innovation. He is a three-time HCDE alumnus, holding a Master of Science in Human Centered Design & Engineering and a certificate in Technical Writing & Editing.
Suzanne Boyd, HCDE 537, is Founder & Principal Consultant of Anthro-Tech, Inc.—a user-centered design consultancy focused on government agencies, nonprofits and organizations with a social-impact mission.
Brock Craft, HCDE 517, is a Senior Lecturer in the UW's department of Human Centered Design & Engineering. His work focuses on physical computing, information visualization, human-computer interaction, and learning design. He holds a PhD in Information Visualization Design from the University College of London.
Rebecca Destello, HCDE 518, is Director of User Research at Anthro-Tech, Inc. - a user-centered design consultancy focused on government agencies, nonprofits and organizations with a social-impact mission. She graduated from the University of Washington with an MS in Human Centered Design & Engineering and a Certificate in User-Centered Design.
Paul Elrif, HCDE 518, is a Principal at Caelus LLC where he researches, designs, and builds custom user experiences for a variety of clients. Previous to his time at Caelus, Paul spent 14 years at Microsoft as a Senior UX Researcher. Paul holds a PhD in experimental psychology from Tufts University.
Gary Hsieh, HCDE 536, is an Assistant Professor in the UW's department of Human Centered Design & Engineering. Hsieh received his PhD in Human-Computer Interaction from the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University and his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at UC Berkeley in 2003.
Daniella Kim, HCDE 518, is a User Experience Researcher for OneSpark, a customer research firm specializing in services that improve the interactive experience through direct customer feedback. She holds a PhD in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Washington.
Sean Munson, HCDE 517, is an Assistant Professor in the UW's department of Human Centered Design & Engineering. Munson received his PhD at the University of Michigan's School of Information, and completed his BS in Engineering with a concentration in Systems Design at Olin College.
Daniela Rosner, HCDE 508, is an Assistant Professor in the UW's department of Human Centered Design & Engineering. Prior to joining HCDE, Rosner was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Program in Science, Technology, and Society (STS) at Stanford University. She received her PhD from the School of Information at UC Berkeley.
Elizabeth Sanocki, HCDE 518, HCDE 536, is a Senior Lecturer in Human Centered Design & Engineering and director of the HCDE Master's and Certificate programs. Prior to joining HCDE, she was a Senior User Experience Designer for Amazon Web Services. Sanocki has over 20 years of experience working in Information Architecture and User Experience (UX) Design and Research.
Sarah Zuberec, HCDE 518, specializes in inter-disciplinary design, user research, market research, audience marketing, and end to end customer experiences. Her past work experience includes Director of User Experience at Microsoft and Senior Manager of Product Management at Amazon. She holds a Master's degree of Applied Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto where she specialized in Human Factors and Interface design.
