Mike Altman, HCDE 536, 

Cecilia Aragon, HCDE 511, is a Professor in the department of Human Centered Design & Engineering (HCDE) and a member of the eScience Institute. She earned her PhD in computer science from UC Berkeley and her BS in mathematics from the California Institute of Technology.

Lindsay Beach, HCDE 536, is a Design Manager at Tableau Software. She holds a MFA in Design Development + Research from The Ohio State University and a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Michael Berg, HCDE 517, is a Senior UX Researcher at Amazon. He is a three-time HCDE alumnus, holding a Master of Science in Human Centered Design & Engineering, a certificate in User-Centered Design, and a certificate in Technical Writing & Editing.

Suzanne Boyd, HCDE 537, is Founder & Principal Consultant of Anthro-Tech, Inc.—a user-centered design consultancy focused on government agencies, nonprofits and organizations with a social-impact mission.

Brock Craft, HCDE 517, HCDE 511, is a Senior Lecturer in the department of Human Centered Design & Engineering. His work focuses on physical computing, information visualization, human-computer interaction, and learning design. He holds a PhD in Information Visualization Design from the University College of London.

Andrew Davidson, HCDE 518, is a Senior Lecturer in the department of Human Centered Design & Engineering. He holds a Master of Science Engineering, Computer, and Information Science from the University of Pennsylvania.

Rebecca Destello, HCDE 518, HCDE 517 is a Research Manager at Facebook. She graduated from the University of Washington with an MS in Human Centered Design & Engineering and a Certificate in User-Centered Design.

Kristin Dew, HCDE 517, is a Lecturer in the department of Human Centered Design & Engineering. She holds a PhD in Human Centered Design & Engineering from the University of Washington.

Paul Elrif, HCDE 518, is a Principal at Caelus LLC where he researches, designs, and builds custom user experiences for a variety of clients. Previous to his time at Caelus, Paul spent 14 years at Microsoft as a Senior UX Researcher. Paul holds a PhD in experimental psychology from Tufts University.

Tyler Fox, HCDE 518, HCDE 536, is a Lecturer in the department of Human Centered Design & Engineering. He holds a PhD from the School of Interactive Arts and Technology at Simon Fraser University, British Columbia; an MFA in Intermedia from Elam School of Fine Arts, University of Auckland, New Zealand; and bachelor’s degrees in Art History and Comparative History of Ideas, both from the University of Washington.

Chad Hall, HCDE 508, is the Associate Director of Design at Cognition Studio in Seattle. Hall holds a Master of Design (MDes) in Visual Communication Design from the University of Washington's School of Art, Art History + Design.

Gary Hsieh, HCDE 536, is an Associate Professor in the department of Human Centered Design & Engineering. Hsieh received his PhD in Human-Computer Interaction from the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University and his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at UC Berkeley in 2003.

Daniella Kim, HCDE 518, HCDE 517, is Principal and Owner at Halibut Flats Research and Development. She holds a PhD in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Washington.

Sean Munson, HCDE 517, is an Associate Professor in the department of Human Centered Design & Engineering. Munson received his PhD at the University of Michigan's School of Information, and completed his BS in Engineering with a concentration in Systems Design at Olin College.

Daniela Rosner, HCDE 508, is an Associate Professor in the department of Human Centered Design & Engineering. Prior to joining HCDE, Rosner was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Program in Science, Technology, and Society (STS) at Stanford University. She received her PhD from the School of Information at UC Berkeley.

Sarah Zuberec, HCDE 518, specializes in inter-disciplinary design, user research, market research, audience marketing, and end to end customer experiences. Her past work experience includes Director of User Experience at Microsoft and Senior Manager of Product Management at Amazon. She holds a Master's degree of Applied Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto where she specialized in Human Factors and Interface design.
