HCDE research at CHI 2019 conference

Human Centered Design & Engineering students, alumni, and faculty will present their research in May at the 2019 ACM CHI Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems

HCDE researchers contributed to 25 of accepted papers at the 2019 CHI conference. Two papers by HCDE researchers earned Best Paper awards, given top the top 1% of submissions; and three have earned Honorable Mention designations, given to the top 5% of submissions. The conference is considered to be the premier international conference of Human-Computer Interaction.

The UW HCI & Design community at large represents a significant amount of CHI contributions, with 62 papers authored by UW researchers. See the full list on the UW Dub website.
