Super Mario Brothers in Sieg Hall

Monday, June 9, 2014

Human Centered Design & Engineering (HCDE) Assistant Professor Julie Kientz opened her office door in Sieg Hall to find a surprise this morning: she had entered a level of Super Mario Brothers! A pixel-perfect world complete with Kientz represented as Mario, her husband as Luigi, and their daughter as Toadstool.

Kientz's new office even plays the Mario theme song when the castle has been conquered and flag has been reached. Kientz's PhD students transformed her office to congratulate her on her promotion to Associate Professor this year.
