Perry and Aragon Published in the Journal of Usability Studies

Human Centered Design & Engineering (HCDE) PhD student Daniel Perry published an article, "Making Energy Savings Easier: Usability Metrics for Thermostats," in the August issue of the Journal of Usability Studies. Professor Cecilia Aragon co-authored the article, which reported on the results of a usability study conducted on five commercially available programmable thermometers (PTs) and the development of four new metrics suitable for use in evaluating thermostat usability.
