Engineering User Love: Crafting Desirable Software Experiences
I intentionally have both "engineering" and "crafting" as the verbs in the title of my talk. I'll discuss how we approach the process of designing and shipping productivity useful and desirable software experiences.
About the Speaker
The Office Experience Group (OXG) consists of software designers and researchers who are responsible for creating PC, phone, server, and cloud-based productivity experiences for Microsoft Office customers. The UX professionals in OXG lead by example in creating software experiences, which includes brainstorming, sketching, iterating, assessing, and refining designs. Kent Lowry manages OXG and is a 15 year veteran at Microsoft who has other Microsoft experiences as a program manager, a product planner, a market researcher, and a user experience researcher.
