| Job Description: | Ilumina Consulting is a small research firm that specializes in medical devices and pharmaceutical user interaction design that is safe, easy to use and effective. In this role, you will assist a senior research consultant with the design and execution of early usability studies and formal summative studies that are part of submissions to agencies like the FDA. This is a contract position with the intention to roll into full-time. Ilumina’s current clients will give you an opportunity to contribute to surgical devices, ultrasound products, diabetes devices, asthma products and cancer detection tools. This means exposure to a variety of users, uses, environments and technologies. |
| Required Skills: | As a research assistant, you need to be detail oriented, proficient in excel/word, fast typist, quick learner, flexible, able to travel 20%, professional with clients, adaptive based on feedback, excellent writing skills and good at multi-tasking. |
| Desired Skills: | Experience conducting usability research is desired. Interest in learning about medical field is desired. |
| Special Notes/Application Procedures: | This is a hybrid position. Remote work and also working in person for testing. 20 % travel. Salary is negotiable based on experience level. |
