Employer exhibitor details
Parking: HCDE will provide complimentary parking for companies that are staffing tables at the HCDE Career Fair. We will communicate details prior to the event.
Location: The event will take place in the South Ballrooms at UW’s Husky Union Buildin.
Check-in: Check-in outside The South Ballroom of the Husky Union Building on the UW Campus at 2:30pm (event begins at 3:30pm). We recommend arriving on campus at least 60 minutes prior to the event to navigate parking and walking to the HUB.
All employers can send any exhibiting materials within two weeks in advance. Materials must arrive by Tuesday, October 30 at the latest. Preferred arrival of materials between Friday, October 26 - Tuesday, October 30. Send to the HCDE department address:
HCDE, Attn: Liz Young
3960 Benton Lane NE
428 Sieg Hall
University of Washington
Seattle, WA 98195
While there aren’t many restrictions on what can be sent in advance, please be aware that it can be difficult moving large things around campus and in the smaller elevators that exist in older buildings. Please use common sense in determining size and weight of items you intend to send in advance, being aware that it will be department staff who will be responsible for getting items from our offices to the career fair location.
Registration includes access to resumes, a 6-foot table, access to Wi-Fi, electricity (if indicated at registration), parking, and light refreshments. Basic power is provided if requested for laptops and similar display items, but if you need additional power, please request in advance. Laptops and similar display items are not a problem, but anything that requires much more electricity needs to be run by me (and the facility) as soon as possible.
Be aware that this room will be packed. We request any floor banners, signage, or backdrops to be placed behind or to the side of your table, and not in front.
