Cassie manages the front department office, provides staff support for space management and analysis, and coordinates activities in support of the department's Corporate Affiliates Program and comprehensive industry outreach.
Gian advises prospective and current graduate (MS, PhD, and graduate certificate program) students on admissions and program requirements, facilitates admissions processes, coordinates the curriculum committee, and hosts departmental graduate recruiting events both locally and nationwide.
Jaime maintains the Chair's calendar, schedule meetings, drafts communications, directs COE and UW award nomination processes, manages special events, manages departmental academic human resources (faculty appointments, re-appointments, sabbatical requests, merit review process, promotion, tenure, etc.), coordinates faculty meetings, and processes gifts.
Anne maintains the department website and social media, designs and maintains publications and marketing materials, publicizes departmental news and events, and manages the department's communication and marketing plans.
Allen manages payroll for employees, coordinates travel, including reimbursements, planning, and advances, coordinates petty cash and check requests for reimbursements, manages ProCard reconciliation, equipment inventory and insurance, and collaborates with Grants Coordinator, as needed, on fiscal management of grants/contracts, faculty start-ups and gift budgets.
Emily works directly with HCDE's advising staff to manage classroom planning, book and course evaluation ordering, coordinate event planning related to academic information sessions, graduation, and other departmental events, assist advising staff with admissions, and provide general support to the Director of Student Services.
DJ manages fiscal planning and budgeting, human resources (staff and student employees), leads efforts for developing and implementing departmental procedures for non-academic related issues, oversees space/facilities planning, oversees grant/contract activities, and manages the Corporate Affiliates Program.
Sammie provides Office Manager with support on administrative tasks, manages the department front desk, and performs daily clerical duties.
Scott manages computer resources and services to support the educational and research mission of the department. This includes managing the department's computer and network equipment, software, educational computer labs, and server infrastructure.
Elaine administers daily oversight of the department's sponsored research activities, manages faculty budgets (grants, start-up, gifts), administers purchasing related to faculty budgets, and coordinates with the Fiscal Specialist on payroll functions/travel reimbursements/Procard purchases related to faculty budgets.
Alice provides Office Manager with support on administrative tasks, manages the department front desk, and performs daily clerical duties.
Stephanie advises prospective and current undergraduate students on admissions processes and program requirements, facilitates the undergraduate admission process, hosts undergraduate recruiting events, provides faculty and classroom support, organizes the departmental graduation reception, and coordinates the exchange program with the University of Twente.
