re:Design was the Department of Human Centered Design & Engineering's annual newsletter, published each year entirely by HCDE students until 2011, when it was replaced by Designing Up.
The publication has received "Merit" awards in the Puget Sound Chapter Society for Technical Communication (STC) competition from 2007 through 2011.
The 2011 issue will be sent to the HCDE community this summer. Request that a copy be sent to you by emailing email@example.com.

Previous posTComm Issues
In winter 2009, PhD student Matt Eliot won the contest to rename posTComm. The team asked students, faculty, and staff to submit ideas for a new name. After reviewing the submissions, the field was narrowed down and everyone in the department was asked to vote for their favorite. Of the 71 votes, 35 percent went to re:Design—more than double the number of votes for the runner up, Interface.
