Cecilia Aragon at CCC Spatial Computing Workshop

Human Centered Design & Engineering (HCDE) Professor Cecilia AragonHuman Centered Design & Engineering (HCDE) Professor Cecilia Aragon has been asked to participate in a two-day workshop on Spatial Computing at the Computing Community Consortium (CCC) taking place in Washington, DC, at the National Academy of Sciences on September 10–11, 2012. The CCC defines Spatial Computing as "a set of ideas and technologies that will transform our lives by understanding the physical world, knowing and communicating our relation to places in that world, and navigating through those places" and is sponsoring the workshop with support from the National Science Foundation.

The stated goal of the two-day workshop is to "develop and promote a unified agenda for Spatial Computing research and development across US agencies, industries, and universities." Aragon joins experts from around the country to discuss the issue.
